Abstract

            This descriptive research aimed to study behavioral in prevention Dengue hemorrhagic fever and Perception factors association with behavioral in prevention Dengue hemorrhagic fever in Song district, Phrae province. The sample was 376 people who lived in Song district, this people were selected by systematic random sampling. The instrument was an interview questionnaire about perception of health and behavioral of Dengue hemorrhagic fever prevention. The internal consistency had been tested Cronbach’s alpha coefficient for perception of health and behavioral of Dengue hemorrhagic fever prevention questionnaire were 0.82, 0.90 respectively. Frequencies, percentage, Means, standard deviations, and Pearson’s product moment correlation were used to analyze the data with the level of significant statistic at 0.05.

The research findings were as follows:

1. Perception of health and behavioral of Dengue hemorrhagic fever prevention of people in Song district, Phrae province were found at High level 65.42 %, 79.79 % respectively


2. There were correlations between perceptions of health and behavioral of Dengue hemorrhagic fever prevention with the statistical level of significant at 0.05. Perceived benefit and costs were association with behavioral of Dengue hemorrhagic fever prevention with the statistical level of significant at 0.05. However perceived susceptibility, perceived susceptibility, and perceived barrier were not correlation with behavioral of Dengue hemorrhagic fever prevention of people in Song district, Phrae province.
