Nursing Care for Patient with General Anesthesia Craniotomy: Case Study

Brain tumor is abnormal growth of cells in nervous system. Craniotomy to remove the tumor is a treatment to cure brain tumor. Complications of the craniotomy include infection or cerebral edema. These lead to disadvantages about conscious level, motor control, communication, or memory. The role of registered nurses is avital aspect during craniotomy.The case study was presented for continued nursing among a patient with general anesthesia craniotomy to remove the tumor.The nursing included pre-anesthesia, anesthesia, post-anesthesia, and discharge. The registered nurses help the patient to recover their normal function.
