ปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมการใช้ยาแก้ปวดที่ไม่ใช่สเตียรอยด์ในผู้สูงอายุเขตเทศบาลเมือง

ปัญหาความเจ็บป่วยในระบบโครงร่างกล้ามเนื้อที่สูงขึ้นในผู้สูงอายุ ทำให้มีการใช้ยาแก้ปวดเพิ่มมากขึ้น การวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาหาความสัมพันธ์นี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความชุก พฤติกรรม และปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมการใช้ยาแก้ปวดที่ไม่ใช่สเตียรอยด์ (NSAIDs) ในผู้สูงอายุ กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ผู้สูงอายุที่อาศัยในเขตเทศบาลเมืองเขลางค์นคร อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดลำปาง จำนวน 320 คน โดยการสุ่มแบบหลายขั้นตอน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย มี 4 ส่วน คือ 1) แบบสอบถามทั่วไปส่วนบุคคลและข้อมูลด้านสุขภาพ 2) แบบสอบถามเกี่ยวกับยา NSAIDs 3) แบบสอบถามแรงสนับสนุนทางสังคม และ 4) แบบสอบถามพฤติกรรมการใช้ยา NSAIDs และมีค่าความเชื่อมั่นโดยใช้สูตรสัมประสิทธิ์แอลฟ่าของครอนบาค เท่ากับ .82 และ .71 ตามลำดับ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา สถิติไคสแควร์ สถิติฟิชเชอร์ และสถิติสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์แบบเพียร์สัน ผลการศึกษา พบว่า มีความชุกของพฤติกรรมการใช้ยา NSAIDs ร้อยละ 33.12 คะแนนเฉลี่ยพฤติกรรมการใช้ยา NSAIDs โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับดี (𝑥̅=3.67, SD=0.31) กลุ่มอายุ (𝑥2=6.043, p<.05) ระดับการศึกษาสูงสุด (𝑥2=7.881, p<.05) โรคกระดูกและกล้ามเนื้อ (𝑥2=49.362, p<.001) สัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมการใช้ยา NSAIDs อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p<.05) ส่วนโรคกระดูกและกล้ามเนื้อสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมการใช้ยา NSAIDs อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p<.01) นอกจากนี้การสนับสนุนด้านข้อมูลข่าวสารมีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวก (r=.336, p<.01) การสนับสนุนด้านสิ่งของมีความสัมพันธ์ทางลบ (r=-.195, p<.05) กับพฤติกรรมการใช้ยา NSAIDs อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ดังนั้นการส่งเสริมพฤติกรรมการใช้ยา NSAIDs อย่างสมเหตุผลในกลุ่มผู้สูงอายุ โดยเฉพาะกลุ่มที่ป่วยด้วยโรคกระดูกและกล้ามเนื้อ ควรสนับสนุนข้อมูล ข่าวสารในการใช้ยา NSAIDs ที่ถูกต้อง รวมทั้งเนื้อหาและการใช้สื่อควรมีความเหมาะสมกับกลุ่มอายุและระดับการศึกษา
