Publication Ethics
The Journal of Nursing and Health Research has established publication ethics guidelines that define the roles and responsibilities of those involved, including the roles of the editors, authors, and peer reviewers. This is to ensure that academic works are published and disseminated in accordance with established standards of publication ethics.
Roles and Responsibilities of the Editor
1. The editor must consider and select articles, by evaluating their alignment with the objectives and scope of the journal, as well as the quality of the articles.
2. The journal editor has the responsibility to make the final decision on which articles to publish, after the peer review process, considering the significance, clarity, and timeliness of the articles.
3. The editor must have a system to maintain the confidentiality of the authors' and reviewers' information, and not allow unauthorized individuals to access this information.
4. The editor must check for plagiarism to ensure that the articles published in the journal do not contain copied work from others.
5. The editor must review articles without bias towards race, gender, religion, culture, or politics.
6. The editor must not have any conflicts of interest with the authors and article reviewers.
7. The editor must continuously develop the journal to maintain its quality and relevance.
Roles and Responsibilities of the Author
1. The author's work must be unpublished or not previously disseminated anywhere, and not currently under consideration for publication in another journal.
2. author must write the research article correctly according to the format specified in the author guidelines, and follow the journal's submission process to ensure a quality article.
3. The author must cite the work of others if their work is used.
4. The author must present truthful information resulting from the research, without distorting or providing false data.
5. The author must disclose any conflicts of interest (if any).
6. The author must conduct the research in accordance with the guidelines of research ethics on human subjects and include the approval document when submitting for publication.
Roles and Responsibilities of The Article Reviewers
1. The article reviewers should have expertise that directly matches the academic discipline of the article.
2. Article reviewers must evaluate the article based on the correctness of the research methodology and academic reasoning, not personal reasons or biases.
3. Article reviewers should provide concrete recommendations and clear guidance that is useful for the author to develop the article to be more complete and of higher quality. They can also suggest relevant literature or important research works that are aligned with the article.
4. Article reviewers should pay attention to the issue of plagiarism. If they find any part of the article that is similar or duplicated from other works, they must notify the editor.
5. Article reviewers must adhere to the designated review timeline.
6. Article reviewers will not evaluate articles where they have a conflict of interest, such as being a co-author or having some other relationship that would prevent them from providing an independent evaluation and recommendations.
Complaints against
For complaints against the journal editor, the complaint must be submitted in writing directly to the editor. The editorial board will consider the complaint through their internal process within 1 month after receiving the complaint, and will notify the complainant of the result. If the complaint is not addressed within the specified timeframe, the complainant can submit the complaint to the Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Phayao. The consideration process will be conducted according to the procedures determined by the College's Executive Committee.
