ผลของโปรแกรมส่งเสริมสมรรถนะแห่งตนต่อความรู้และทักษะของอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้านในการปฐมพยาบาลเบื้องต้นผู้สูงอายุที่พลัดตกหกล้มในชุมชน

การพลัดตกหกล้มของผู้สูงอายุเป็นสาเหตุการบาดเจ็บและเสียชีวิตที่มักจะเกิดขึ้นในชุมชน การส่งเสริมให้อาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้าน (อสม.) มีความรู้และทักษะในการปฐมพยาบาลเบื้องต้นแก่ผู้สูงอายุ เป็นสิ่งสำคัญ การวิจัยกึ่งทดลองแบบกลุ่มเดียววัดผลก่อนหลังนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความรู้และทักษะของ อสม. ในการปฐมพยาบาลเบื้องต้นสำหรับผู้สูงอายุที่พลัดตกหกล้มในชุมชน โดยใช้ทฤษฎีส่งเสริมสมรรถนะแห่งตนเป็นกรอบแนวคิดในการวิจัย กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็น อสม.ที่ได้จากการสุ่มแบบสองขั้นตอน จำนวน 30 คน เข้าร่วมโปรแกรมเป็นเวลา 4 สัปดาห์ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ ได้แก่ 1) โปรแกรมส่งเสริมสมรรถนะแห่งตนของ อสม.ในการปฐมพยาบาลเบื้องต้นผู้สูงอายุที่พลัดตกหกล้มในชุมชน2) แบบวัดความรู้ของ อสม. ในการปฐมพยาบาลเบื้องต้นผู้สูงอายุที่พลัดตกหกล้มในชุมชน และ 3) แบบประเมินทักษะของ อสม.ในการปฐมพยาบาลเบื้องต้นผู้สูงอายุที่พลัดตกหกล้มในชุมชน มีค่าดัชนีความตรงตามเนื้อหา เท่ากับ 0.9 และ 1.0 ตามลำดับ และค่าความเชื่อมั่นของแบบวัดความรู้ได้ค่า เคอาร์-21 เท่ากับ .66 และแบบวัดทักษะมีค่าสัมประสิทธิ์อัลฟาครอนบาคเท่ากับ .86 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา และ
การทดสอบค่าทีแบบจับคู่ ผลการศึกษา พบว่า ค่าเฉลี่ยคะแนนความรู้และทักษะของ อสม. ในการปฐมพยาบาลเบื้องต้นผู้สูงอายุที่พลัดตกหกล้มในชุมชนสูงกว่าก่อนการทดลองอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p<.001) ดังนั้นโปรแกรมส่งเสริมสมรรถนะแห่งตนสามารถใช้เป็นเครื่องมือในการเพิ่มศักยภาพด้านความรู้และทักษะของ อสม.ในการปฐมพยาบาลเบื้องต้นผู้สูงอายุที่พลัดตกหกล้มในชุมชนได้
