Guidelines for drug dispensing in traditional Chinese medicine clinic

Abstract
This article is a guideline for drug dispensing in a traditional Chinese medicine clinic that has been adapted from “Professional Skills Criteria for Pharmacy Practitioners, 2020” (Pharmacy Council of Thailand) which has been assigned to pharmacists who are responsible for caring for information, communication and knowledge; dimensions of pharmaceuticals, herbs, and quality control; dimensions of drug procurement and drug preparation for individual patients; dimensions of pharmaceutical care and dimensions for the use of herbs. It is an important topic that people in charge of traditional Chinese medicine clinics can apply to practice. It included basic principles of drug dispensing, drug administration standards with 10 R, principles of good communication, the process of teaching or giving advice on preliminary drug use, the process of answering drug questions, pharmaceuticals, herbs, quality control and principles of Chinese medicine.
