Management of ingested foreign bodies in an adolescent : A case report

Abstract

          A case report of 15-year-old Myanmar male, who was presented at Krabi Hospital with occur at foreign bodies (fish) in throat, 2 hours after holding the fish head in the mouth before placing it in a container. An accident occurred, the fish dropped in the oropharynx. Then physical examination was found foreign body in the oropharynx. the finding of rigid direct laryngoscopy and esophagoscopy was positive but cann’t remove it. Patients was taken for exploration of throat to remove foreign body, after general anesthesia with endotracheal tube intubation and Rapid Sequence Intubation technique (RSI), patients without complications and length of stay (LOS) 2 days.
