บทบาทของพยาบาลอนามัยชุมชนในการป้องกันโรคหลอดเลือดสมอง โดยประยุกต์ใช้แนวคิดการจัดการตนเอง

โรคหลอดเลือดสมองเป็นสาเหตุสำคัญของการเสียชีวิตและความพิการตลอดชีวิต ปัจจัยเสี่ยงที่สำคัญในการเกิดโรคเกิด จากพฤติกรรมสุขภาพที่ไม่เหมาะสม เช่น ขาดการออกกำลังกาย รับประทานอาหารไม่เหมาะสม ภาวะโภชนาการเกิน การสูบบุหรี่ และดื่มสุรา เป็นต้น ปัจจัยดังกล่าวก่อให้เกิดกลุ่มโรคเรื้อรัง ได้แก่ โรคความดันโลหิตสูง โรคเบาหวาน ภาวะโรคหัวใจ ไขมันในเลือด สูง ซึ่งส่งผลให้เกิดโรคหลอดเลือดสมองได้ โรคหลอดเลือดสมองเป็นโรคที่มีผลกระทบโดยตรงต่อคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้ป่วยทั้งทาง ร่างกาย จิตใจ สังคม ครอบครัวรวมถึงความสูญเสียทางเศรษฐกิจ การป้องกันการเกิดโรคหลอดเลือดสมองจึงเป็นบทบาทที่สำคัญ ของพยาบาลอนามัยชุมชน โดยการให้บริการการป้องกันเบื้องต้นแก่ชุมชน การนำแนวคิดการจัดการตนเองซึ่งเป็นกระบวนการที่ ช่วยให้ผู้ป่วยเปลี่ยนมุมมองพฤติกรรมของตนเอง ประกอบด้วย 1. การตั้งเป้าหมาย 2. การเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล 3. การประมวลผล และการประเมินข้อมูล 4. การตัดสินใจ 5. การดำเนินการ และ 6. การสะท้อนตนเอง มาใช้ในการปฏิบัติงานของพยาบาลอนามัย ชุมชนในการป้องกันการเกิดโรคหลอดเลือดสมองนั้น จะช่วยส่งเสริมคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้ป่วยและครอบครัว รวมทั้งการพัฒนาความ เชื่อมั่นในความสามารถของตนเองในการจัดการกับโรคเพื่อให้เกิดการปรับเปลี่ยนพฤติกรรมให้สอดคล้องกับภาวะของโรคที่เป็นอยู่ และพึงพอใจในการดำเนินชีวิตประจำวันได้อย่างมีความสุข
