บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อ (1) ศึกษาพฤติกรรมบ่งชี้ความเจริญงอกงามภายหลังเผชิญเหตุการณ์สะเทือนใจของทหารผ่านศึก และ (2) ศึกษาแนวทางการเสริมสร้างความเจริญงอกงามของทหารผ่านศึกภายหลังการเผชิญเหตุการณ์สะเทือนใจจากประสบการณ์ในสนามรบ โดยใช้วิธีการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพแนวปรากฏการณ์วิทยา ผู้ให้ข้อมูลหลักเป็นทหารผ่านศึกในประเทศไทย ที่เคยผ่านเหตุการณ์สะเทือนใจจากสนามรบ หรือสถานการณ์ความไม่สงบ จำนวน 12 คน และผู้เชี่ยวชาญที่มีประสบการณ์ดูแลทหารผ่านศึก จำนวน 5 คน ซึ่งคัดเลือกแบบเจาะจง และเก็บข้อมูลโดยการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก จากนั้นวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยการสกัดข้อความสำคัญ ให้ความหมาย และกำหนดประเด็นหลัก
ผลการศึกษาพบว่า พฤติกรรมบ่งชี้การเกิดความเจริญงอกงามภายหลังเผชิญเหตุการณ์สะเทือนใจของทหารผ่านศึก มี 5 ประเด็นหลัก ได้แก่ (1) การเห็นคุณค่าในชีวิต (2) การมีปฏิสัมพันธ์และความสัมพันธ์กับผู้อื่น (3) ความเข้มแข็งภายในตนเอง (4) การรับรู้เส้นทางใหม่ในชีวิต และ (5) การเปลี่ยนแปลงทางจิตวิญญาณและการดำรงอยู่ ส่วนแนวทางการเสริมสร้างความเจริญงอกงามภายหลังเผชิญเหตุการณ์สะเทือนใจ ได้แก่ (1) การสร้างความปลอดภัย และมีสติอยู่กับปัจจุบัน (2) การปรับกระบวนการทางความคิด และ (3) การสร้างความหมายผ่านการเล่าเรื่อง ผลการศึกษานี้สามารถนำไปพัฒนารูปแบบการให้คำปรึกษาทางจิตวิทยา เพื่อเสริมสร้างความเจริญงอกงามภายหลังเผชิญเหตุการณ์สะเทือนใจของทหารผ่านศึกต่อไป
