การทำงานในวิชาชีพพยาบาลของพยาบาลรุ่นอายุแซด ก่อนลาออกไปประกอบอาชีพอื่น: การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ

การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ บรรยายประสบการณ์การทำงานและสาเหตุการตัดสินใจลาออกของพยาบาลรุ่นอายุแซดที่ลาออกไปประกอบอาชีพอื่น โดยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ ผู้ให้ข้อมูลคือพยาบาลวิชาชีพรุ่นอายุแซด จำนวน 17 คน ซึ่งเคยปฏิบัติงานในโรงพยาบาลทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชนก่อนตัดสินใจลาออกไปประกอบอาชีพอื่น เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล ด้วยการสัมภาษณ์แบบเจาะลึก ร่วมกับการสังเกตและการจดบันทึกภาคสนาม นำข้อมูลมาถอดเทปแบบคำต่อคำ และวิเคราะห์ เนื้อหาตามวิธีการของ Creswell และ Poth
ผลการศึกษา พบว่าประสบการณ์การทำงานในวิชาชีพพยาบาลของพยาบาลรุ่นอายุแซดก่อนลาออกไปประกอบอาชีพอื่น สามารถแบ่งได้เป็น 4 ประเด็นหลัก ซึ่งมีรายละเอียดดังนี้ 1) การปฏิบัติงานและการปรับตัวในบทบาทพยาบาล 2) อุปสรรคในการทำงานและความขัดแย้งกับผู้ร่วมงาน 3) ลักษณะงานและผลกระทบต่อชีวิตส่วนตัว และ 4) แรงผลักดันและสาเหตุที่นำไปสู่การลาออกจากวิชาชีพพยาบาล
ผลการวิจัยทำให้เกิดความเข้าใจถึงบริบทการทำงานในวิชาชีพพยาบาลที่นำไปสู่การลาออกของพยาบาลรุ่นอายุแซด ซึ่งเป็นรุ่นอายุที่จะเป็นกำลังหลักในระบบบริการสุขภาพ โดยสามารถใช้เป็นข้อมูลผลการวิจัยสำหรับผู้บริหารทางการพยาบาลในการพัฒนากลยุทธ์การธำรงรักษาพยาบาลไว้ในวิชาชีพต่อไป
