บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยเชิงทำนายนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยทำนายความเสี่ยงต่อการพลัดตกหกล้มของผู้สูงอายุในจังหวัดจันทบุรี กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือผู้สูงอายุจำนวน 550 คน ใช้วิธีการสุ่มแบบหลายขั้นตอนจาก 10 ชมรมผู้สูงอายุในพื้นที่ส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศหญิง (ร้อยละ 84.5) ช่วงอายุ 70-79 ปี (ร้อยละ 48.7) และมีภาวะโภชนาการเกินเกณฑ์ปกติ (ร้อยละ 57.8) ผลการประเมินพบว่า ผู้สูงอายุมีความเสี่ยงต่อการพลัดตกหกล้มอยู่ในระดับต่ำ (ค่าเฉลี่ย 3.30 จาก 11) แต่มีประวัติการหกล้มในรอบ 6 เดือน สูงถึง ร้อยละ 14.5 ผลการวิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์ พบว่า โรคประจำตัว (r= .193, p< .01), ประวัติการล้มใน 6 เดือน (r= .529, p< .01), การเดินและการทรงตัว (r= .235, p<.01) และ เพศ (r= .096, p< .05) มีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกกับความเสี่ยงต่อการพลัดตกหกล้ม อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ จากการวิเคราะห์ถดถอยพหุคูณ ตัวแปรที่ร่วมกันทำนายการพลัดตกหกล้มได้อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ได้แก่ ประวัติการหกล้มใน 6 เดือน (β = .636, p < .001), การเดินและการทรงตัว (β = .209, p < .001), โรคประจำตัว (β = .108, p < .001) และ เพศ (β = .061, p < .05) โดยตัวแปรทั้งหมดสามารถร่วมกันทำนายการหกล้มได้ร้อยละ 51 (R2 = .510, Adjusted R² = .506, F=141.699, p < .001) และพบว่า ความกลัวการหกล้ม และภาวะซึมเศร้า ไม่สามารถทำนายความเสี่ยงต่อการหกล้มของผู้สูงอายุได้ จึงควรนำผลการวิจัยนี้ไปใช้ในการคัดกรองผู้สูงอายุ
