ปัจจัยทำนายความเสี่ยงต่อการฆ่าตัวตายในวัยรุ่นจังหวัดแห่งหนึ่งในภาคเหนือ ประเทศไทย

บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยแบบหาความสัมพันธ์เชิงทำนาย (Predictive correlational study) ครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความเสี่ยงต่อการฆ่าตัวตายในวัยรุ่นจังหวัดแห่งหนึ่งในภาคเหนือ และปัจจัยทำนายภาวะซึมเศร้า พฤติกรรมการถูกรังแกผ่านโลกไซเบอร์ และพฤติกรรมการติดอินเทอร์เน็ตต่อความเสี่ยงต่อการฆ่าตัวตายในวัยรุ่นจำนวน 173 คน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติพรรณนา และสถิติอ้างอิงวิเคราะห์ความถดถอยเชิงเส้นพหุคูณ (Multiple Linear Regression) ด้วยเทคนิค stepwise โดยกำหนดนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีความเสี่ยงต่อการฆ่าตัวตาย ร้อยละ 45.70 โดยส่วนใหญ่ร้อยละ 58.20 มีความเสี่ยงต่อการฆ่าตัวตายอยู่ในระดับน้อย รองลงมาร้อยละ 22.80 มีความเสี่ยงต่อการฆ่าตัวตายในระดับมาก พฤติกรรมการถูกรังแกผ่านโลกไซเบอร์ไม่สามารถทำนายความเสี่ยงต่อการฆ่าตัวตายของวัยรุ่นได้ ส่วนภาวะซึมเศร้าสามารถทำนายความเสี่ยงต่อการฆ่าตัวตายในวัยรุ่น ร้อยละ 37.40 (p < .01) พฤติกรรมการติดอินเทอร์เน็ตสามารถทำนายความเสี่ยงต่อการฆ่าตัวตายในวัยรุ่น ร้อยละ 5.5 (p < .01) และภาวะซึมเศร้ากับพฤติกรรมการติดอินเทอร์เน็ต สามารถร่วมกันทำนายความเสี่ยงต่อการฆ่าตัวตายได้ ร้อยละ 42.90 (p < .01) ผลการวิจัยในครั้งนี้จะเป็นประโยชน์ต่อผู้เกี่ยวข้องที่ทำงานด้านสุขภาพจิตโดยสามารถนำผลที่ได้เป็นข้อมูลในการวางแผน เพื่อป้องกันความเสี่ยงต่อการฆ่าตัวตายในวัยรุ่นโดยเน้นการจัดการหรือลดภาวะซึมเศร้า และพฤติกรรมการติดอินเทอร์เน็ตในวัยรุ่น
