การวิจัยและพัฒนานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) วิเคราะห์สภาพการณ์และพัฒนาแนวทางการส่งเสริมพัฒนาการและการเจริญ เติบโตที่สมวัยของทารกคลอดก่อนกำหนด และ 2) ประเมินผลการนำแนวทางที่พัฒนาขึ้นไปใช้ เครื่องมือ ได้แก่ แนวทางการพัฒนา ศักยภาพของผู้ดูแล และแบบสอบถามพฤติกรรมการส่งเสริมพัฒนาการและการเจริญเติบโตที่สมวัยสำหรับทารกคลอดก่อนกำหนด การวิเคราะห์ผลใช้การวิเคราะห์เชิงพรรณา การวิเคราะห์เชิงคุณภาพ และการทดสอบค่าที

ข้อเสนอแนะ การนำผลงานวิจัยไปใช้ควรมีการศึกษาและวิเคราะห์ให้เหมาะสมกับกลุ่มผู้ใช้และบริบทแต่ละพื้นที่
