ผลกระทบที่เกี่ยวข้องกับสุขภาพของการบาดเจ็บที่สมอง: การทบทวนขอบเขต

การบาดเจ็บที่สมองเป็นปัญหาด้านสาธารณสุขระดับโลก ที่ก่อให้เกิดภาระด้านสุขภาพและเศรษฐกิจอย่างมหาศาล บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อทบทวนงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับผลกระทบของการบาดเจ็บทางสมอง ต่อสุขภาพด้านต่างๆของบุคคลที่ ได้รับบาดเจ็บทางสมองในทุกระดับความรุนแรงและระยะของการบาดเจ็บ เพื่อนำไปใช้เป็นแนวทางในการพัฒนาคุณภาพการดูแล และศึกษาวิจัยในผู้ป่วยกลุ่มนี้ บทความนี้ได้มาจากการสังเคราะห์งานวิจัยที่ตรงตามเกณฑ์การคัดเลือกจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 24 งานวิจัย ผลการศึกษาพบว่าการบาดเจ็บที่สมองมีผลเสียต่อสุขภาพร่างกาย สติปัญญาการรับรู้ จิตสังคม และพฤติกรรมของบุคคลที่ได้รับบาด เจ็บ การศึกษาทบทวนนี้ยังพบว่าการบาดเจ็บที่สมองซ้ำจะทำให้ผลกระทบของการบาดเจ็บที่สมองมีความซับซ้อนมากขึ้นและอาจ ทำให้กระบวนการหายของสมองที่ได้รับบาดเจ็บมีความล่าช้า จึงควรให้ความสำคัญมากขึ้นในการป้องกันการบาดเจ็บที่สมองซ้ำ โปรแกรมหรือกลยุทธิ์ที่สนับสนุนผู้ที่มีการบาดเจ็บที่สมองในการจัดการกับความปัญหาและผลกระทบที่ตามมาเหล่านี้จึงเป็นสิ่ง จำเป็นอย่างยิ่ง สำหรับการวิจัยทางการพยาบาล การศึกษา และการปฏิบัติทางคลินิกสำหรับผู้ที่มีการบาดเจ็บที่สมองในอนาคต ควร ให้ความสำคัญกับประเด็นในเรื่องการจัดการอาการ การสนับสนุนทางสังคม ทักษะการแก้ปัญหาที่เหมาะสม การมีวิถีทางสุขภาพที่ ดี และการป้องกันการบาดเจ็บที่สมองซ้ำ
