การรับรู้สมรรถนะของตนในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะสมองเสื่อม

การวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาเพื่อศึกษาการรับรู้สมรรถนะของตนในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะสมองเสื่อม และปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการรับรู้สมรรถนะของตนในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะสมองเสื่อม กลุ่มตัวอย่าง เป็นผู้ดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะสมองเสื่อมที่เป็นผู้ดูแลหลักในพื้นที่จังหวัดสุรินทร์ จำนวน 196 คน โดยคัดเลือกแบบเฉพาะเจาะจง (Purposive sampling) จากผู้ที่มีคุณสมบัติตามเกณฑ์ที่กำหนด เครื่องมือในการวิจัย 1) แบบสอบถามข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล 2) แบบสอบถามการรับรู้ความสามารถของตนในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะสมองเสื่อม ตรวจสอบคุณภาพเครื่องมือ มีค่าความตรงเชิงเนื้อหา 0.96 ค่าความเชื่อมั่นแอลฟาของครอนบาค เท่ากับ 0.92 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติพรรณนาและสถิติถดถอยพหุคูณแบบขั้นตอน (stepwise multiple regression)
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีการรับรู้สมรรถนะของตนในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะสมองเสื่อมอยู่ในระดับมากและมีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงสุด คือ ท่านมีความเห็นอกเห็นใจและช่วยเหลือครอบครัวให้ปรับตัวต่อภาระการดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะสมองเสื่อมได้ (mean = 4.17 S.D= 0.73) และพบว่า ประสบการณ์การฝึกอบรมเป็นผู้ดูแล และอายุผู้ดูแล สามารถร่วมกันทำนายการรับรู้สมรรถนะแห่งตนในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะสมองเสื่อมได้ร้อยละ 31.1 (R2 = .311 , F= 9.099, p < .05) สรุปได้ว่า ประสบการณ์การฝึกอบรมเป็นผู้ดูแลเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญที่มีผลต่อการรับรู้สมรรถนะแห่งตนในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะสมองเสื่อมได้
