คัดกรองภาวะสมองเสื่อมในผู้สูงอายุ อำเภอแม่แจ่ม จังหวัดเชียงใหม่

การศึกษาครั้งนี้เป็นวิจัยเชิงสำรวจ มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่าง เพศ อายุ การพึ่งพาตนเอง ดัชนีมวล กาย กับภาวะสมองเสื่อมในผู้สูงอายุ ตำบลปางหินฝน อำเภอแม่แจ่ม จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ กลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเฉพาะเจาะจง จำนวน 109 คน เครื่องมือวิจัย ประกอบด้วย ข้อมูลส่วนบุคคลที่เกี่ยวข้องกับภาวะสมองเสื่อม และแบบทดสอบสภาพสมองของไทย (Thai Mental State Examination: TMSE) เป็นเครื่องมือที่ใช้คัดกรองภาวะสมองเสื่อม โดยวัดเชาว์ปัญญาทั้ง 6 ด้าน คือ ด้าน การรับรู้ (Orientation) ด้านการจดจำ (Registration) ด้านความใส่ใจ (Attention) ด้านการคำนวณ (Calculation) ด้านภาษา (Language) และ ด้านการระลึกได้ (Recall) ผลการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล พบว่า 1) เพศชายมีภาวะสมองเสื่อม 21 ราย (ร้อยละ 19.27) เพศหญิง 41 ราย (ร้อยละ 37.61) 2) ค่าเฉลี่ยและเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานของกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยรวม และจำแนกรายด้านของภาวะ สมองเสื่อม ไม่แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 และ 3) อายุ มีความสัมพันธ์กับภาวะสมองเสื่อมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ ทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 แต่ เพศ การพึ่งพาตนเอง และดัชนีมวลกาย ไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับภาวะสมองเสื่อมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ที่ระดับ .05
