การดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะสมองเสื่อมในครอบครัวโดยพยาบาลวิชาชีพ

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อบรรยายประสบการณ์การดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะสมองเสื่อมในครอบครัวโดยพยาบาลวิชาชีพ โดยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพแบบปรากฏการณ์วิทยาแบบตีความ คัดเลือกผู้ให้ข้อมูลแบบเฉพาะเจาะจง โดยผู้ให้ข้อมูลคือ พยาบาลวิชาชีพที่ปฏิบัติงานเต็มเวลาในสถานบริการสุขภาพ และดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะสมองเสื่อมซึ่งพักอาศัยอยู่ในครอบครัว เดียวกันเป็นระยะเวลาอย่างน้อย 1 ปีจนถึงปัจจุบัน มีความเกี่ยวข้องในฐานะบุตรหรือเป็นญาติสายตรงกับผู้สูงอายุจำนวน 14 คน เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้การสัมภาษณ์แบบเจาะลึก ร่วมกับการบันทึกเทป การสังเกตและการจดบันทึกภาคสนาม ถอดเทปแบบคำต่อคำ และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลตามวิธีการของ van Manen ผลการศึกษาการดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะสมองเสื่อในครอบครัวโดยพยาบาลวิชาชีพ มี 6 ประเด็นคือ 1) ใส่ใจกิจวัตรประจำวัน 2) จัดการและป้องกันอาการไม่พึงประสงค์ 3) ดูแลเพื่อคงความสามารถในการช่วยเหลือตนเองได้ 4) พาไปตรวจตามแพทย์นัด 5) จัดสรรเวลาพาเที่ยวนอกบ้าน 6) ชวนท่านทำบุญทำทานไหว้พระสวดมนต์ จากการศึกษาในครั้งนี้ทำให้เข้าใจพยาบาลที่ดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะสมองเสื่อมในครอบครัวมากขึ้น พยาบาลผู้สูงอายุ สามารถนำผลการวิจัยนี้ไปใช้เป็นแนวทางในการให้คำแนะนำการดูแลผู้สูงอายุที่บ้านของพยาบาลวิชาชีพให้มีความเข้าใจอาการของ โรคตั้งแต่ในระยะเริ่มต้น เพื่อให้ผู้สูงอายุได้รับการดูแลอย่างมีคุณภาพและเหมาะสม
