ปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงทางเพศ ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น เขตอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดนครพนม

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงพรรณนา มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงทางเพศของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดนครพนม กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น จำนวน 330 คน โดยสุ่มจากทะเบียนนักเรียนของโรงเรียนในสังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษา เขต 22 อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดนครพนม เก็บข้อมูลโดยแบบสอบถาม ข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล ความรู้ ทัศนคติ และพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงทางเพศ ผลการศึกษาพบว่านักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น เขตอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดนครพนม มีคะแนนเฉลี่ยความรู้เกี่ยวกับพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงทางเพศอยู่ในระดับมาก คะแนนเฉลี่ยด้านทัศนคติ และพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงทางเพศอยู่ในระดับต่ำมาก และพบว่าปัจจัยส่วนบุคล ไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงทางเพศ อย่างไรก็ตามพบว่า อายุ (r = 0.162, p = 0.003) ความรู้ (r = -0.201, p < 0.000) และทัศนคติ (r = -0.190, p = 0.001) มีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงทางเพศ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ โดยนักเรียนที่มีอายุมากขึ้น จะมีพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงทางเพศมากขึ้น แต่หากนักเรียนมีความรู้มากขึ้น หรือทัศนคติเกี่ยวกับพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงทางเพศ ดีขึ้น อาจส่งผลให้มีพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงทางเพศลดลงโรงเรียนและครอบครัวควรให้ความรู้ และปลูกฝังทัศนคติที่ถูกต้องและเหมาะสมในเรื่องเพศให้แก่เด็ก เพื่อป้องกันการเกิดพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงทางเพศ และเป็นเตรียมความพร้อมให้เด็กก้าวย่างเข้าสู่วัยรุ่นได้อย่างมั่นใจ

Factors Associated with Sexual Risk Behaviours Among Secondary School Students in Nakhon Phanom Province

This descriptive research was aimed to study the association between selected factors and sexual risk behaviours among secondary school students in Nakhon Phanom Province. A sample of 330 was selected using multi-stage random sampling from the database of the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 22, Muang District, Nakhon Phanom Province. Students were asked to fill out the questionnaire which included characteristics details, knowledge, attitude, and sexual risk behaviours. The study found a high mean score of knowledge, low mean scores of attitude and sexual risk behaviours among secondary school students in Nakhon Phanom Province. No association between characteristics factors and sexual risk behaviours among secondary school students. However, sexual risk
behaviours were found to have an association with age (r = 0.162, p = 0.003), knowledge (r = -0.201, p < 0.000) and attitude (r = -0.190, p = 0.001) of sexual risk behaviours. Older students were significantly more likely to engage in sexual risk behaviors than those who were not and those who had a higher score of knowledge and a higher score of attitude of sexual risk behaviours were significantly less likely to engage in sexual risk behaviours than those who had not. Recommendation for schools and families should provide knowledge and the right attitude of sexual risk behaviours for students. These would not only help in protection sexual risk behaviours but also be assured that students are ready in step forward into the adolescent life.
