The objectives of this research were to 1) design and develop a preparation program model for emergency nursing practice program through usage of online simulation-based situations, and 2) examine levels of stress management, knowledge and attitude of nursing university students after they participated in the preparation program model. Participants of the study were 36 third-year nursing students from the Faculty of Nursing at Suan Dusit University in Thailand through a simple random sampling method. The research instruments include an validation form for preparation program model formats, a stress management test, a knowledge test, and an attitude test. The reliability of those instrument were more than .70 Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and paired t-test. The research findings revealed that the preparation model had an average value of appropriateness at the high level. Furthermore, the average scores of stress management, knowledge, and attitude among nursing students before and after participating in the program were different at a significance level of .05, which indicates that the preparation program model for emergency nursing practice through usage of online simulation-based situations could effectively promote stress management, knowledge and attitude of nursing university students.
