Developing the nursing service system is an essential role of nursing administrators. Following the vision and hospital policies to develop excellent nursing services in 2020, the Faculty of Medicine at Ramathibodi Hospital started a project to perform robot-assisted surgery on prostate cancer patients in a special clinic. While working, nurses found many problems relating to unclear working systems. Therefore, we developed a patient caring system by applying the Lean concept. Resulting in 1) nurses systemat 3) reducing work time by 250 minutes, 4) patients and relatives taking care of the urinary catheter and cleaning the wound correctly 100 percent, 5) reduce costs by approximately 25,000-30,000 baht per patient, 6) reduce hospital stays to 3-4 days, and 7) increasing patients satisfaction and nursing staff at the highest level, 100 percent.
