The Development of Clinical Nursing Practice Guideline for Providing Oxygen Therapy to the Patients Infected with the Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) in the Critical Cohort Department

This research was a qualitative research. The purpose of this study was to describe nursing management during COVID-19 pandemic, Samutprakarn Hospital. The informants were 15 nurses who had experience in nursing management during COVID-19pandemic. The tools used consisted of researchers who were an important interview tool. and collect data manually. There were other tools to help collect data, namely 1) audio recording devices, 2) personal data recording forms, 3) memo forms, and 4) interview questions. Data collection was done using in-depth interviews. The data were analyzed by using content analysis of Creswell’s and Poth’s method.
The finding of nursing management during COVID-19 to achieve its goal consists of 4 main themes: 1) manpower and readiness of personnel 2) Management of places and medical equipment used in providing services, 3) Apply management principles to work, 4) allocation of compensation for morale and encouragement.
The study finding makes more understanding of nursing management during COVID-19 pandemic and nurse executives can used as a guideline for preparing plans for future viral outbreak.
