Abstract

The purpose of this research was study the competency of the quality of service and nursing care visits the university hospital network, Thailand and university hospital nursing director consortium. This descriptive research was collected data 3 times 1) the 1st round, using focus group discussion technique to explore opinions from expert groups. The result summary is the competency needed for the quality inspection visitors. 2) Prepare a questionnaire of the performance needs for the visitor. The content validity analyze by the Indexes of Item-Objective Congruence (IOC) of 0.67-1.0 and the reliability with the Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient of .94, and 3) the questionnaires were collected in the volunteers with the specified qualifications in a total of 25 hospitals, 30 people. Data analysis by means of Mean Deviation, and Standard Deviation.

The results showed that the competency of the quality inspectors have a high level of average (gif.latex?\bar{x} = 4.41) when considering according to competencies, found that competency no. 4, teamwork, the highest average ( gif.latex?\bar{x} = 4.60), followed by the competency no. 6 is an important feature of being a great visitor, the competency no. 1 has knowledge and understanding of professional standards, the competency no. 3 has the ability to manage., the competency no. 2 has knowledge and understanding about professional ethics ( gif.latex?\bar{x} = 4.50, gif.latex?\bar{x} = 4.39, gif.latex?\bar{x} = 4.37, gif.latex?\bar{x} = 4.30) and the competency no. 5 Communication ( gif.latex?\bar{x} = 4.27).
