Efficiency Evaluation of The Emergency Medical Service quality and Factors Related The Ultilization of Emergency Medical Service Behaviors of People in Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy, Nakhon Nayok Province

This study aims to study the factors related the ultilization of emergency medical service (EMS) behaviors and system quality analysis of the emergency medical service of people in Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy (CRMA), Nakhon Nayok province .The methodology is descriptive research by using mix method both quantitative and qualitative procedure .The target group consists of 404 persons who live in CRMA area.The study used 390 questionaires which have been analyzed. Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of the questionnaire was 0.8. The quantitative data analyzing is done by computer program .The descriptive statistics used are frequency distribution, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation .The analytical statistics conducted is Chi-Square test and the qualitative tool used is In-depth interview semi-structured along with participant observation which have been verified by triangulation. The quantitative study found that the leading factors, additive factors and contributing factors have statistically significant relationship to the utilization of the EMS system at level 0.05. The qualitative study found that the most people who used the EMS system have positive satisfaction but they were not pleased with the EMS public relation that was incomprehensive. People who have never experienced the service still lack of the comprehensiveness in using the service. Having private automobile is also the major factor for not asking for the service. In addition, the EMS staffs perceived that the EMS system was beneficial for patient. However, there were many obstacles such as the people comprehensiveness in the EMS system including the lack of personal, medical equipment and EMS vehicles.
