Learning in The 21st Century : Lesson Learned from Flipped Classroom

In the 21st century, education system needs to develop a change from the traditional model of classroom to the world of changing in globalization era. The learners must transcend the subject matter to learn more in living in the 21st century (21st Century skills). The instructors have to change their roles and teaching method from focusing on an explanation of utilizing content as lecture in classroom to be a coach or facilitator to encourage learners in order to learn effectively from experience, thinking, practice, and teamwork to achieve the learning skills, self-intelligence, life skills and happy learning. Then, they will become lifelong learners. These skills will promote the students to success after graduated in their career and to meet
the society needs as well. Design of teaching and learning in flipped classroom via combination of technology, media, teaching model and variety of activities is a one of several channels to help learners in developing their skill for living in the 21st century.
