แนวโน้มการดูแลผู้สูงอายุในศตวรรษที่ 21: ความท้าทายในการพยาบาล

Abstract

ศตวรรษที่ 21 เป็นยุคแห่งการเจริญของเทคโนโลยีกับการเข้าสู่สังคมของผู้สูงอายุ จึงมีความจำเป็นที่จะเชื่อมโยงระบบการดูแลผู้สูงอายุให้เข้ากับโลกยุคเทคโนโลยีและนำประโยชน์จากสภาพความเป็นจริงของปัจจุบันมาสู่การดูแลผู้สูงอายุจากสถานการณ์“สังคมสูงวัย” (aged society) ทำให้เกิดปัญหาความเปราะบางด้านสุขภาพตามกลุ่มอายุ ขาดผู้ดูแล สัดส่วนผู้สูงอายุที่เพิ่มขึ้นอย่างรวดเร็วส่งผลให้ลักษณะการพึ่งพิงทางเศรษฐกิจระหว่างประชากรวัยต่าง ๆ เปลี่ยนไป ผู้สูงอายุในศตวรรษที่ 21เป็นผู้ที่มีประสบการณ์สูง อีกทั้งด้านการแพทย์และยารักษาโรคเจริญและพัฒนา ทำให้อัตราการเสียชีวิตลดลง มีคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีขึ้นและมีอายุยืนยาวแต่อัตราการเกิดและอัตราการเจริญพันธุ์กลับลดลงภาวการณ์เป็นสังคมสูงอายุจึงนำมาซึ่งความท้าทายสำหรับการพยาบาล ซึ่งต้องดูแลผู้สูงอายุบนฐานสิทธิ และเปลี่ยนความเชื่อฝังใจและทัศนคติร่วมของสังคมต่อความสูงอายุ ประเด็นที่ท้าทายจึงประกอบด้วย เทคโนโลยีกับผู้สูงอายุ อายุยืน ระบบสุขภาพต้องรองรับการดูแลการศึกษาดี และชอบอยู่ตามลำพัง ดังนั้นบทบาทพยาบาลในการดูแลผู้สููงอายุในศตวรรษที่ 21 จึงประกอบด้วยการจัดการรายกรณี การจัดรูปแบบบริการ ในการดูแลที่มีทั้งระยะต้น ระยะกลาง ระยะยาวและต่อเนื่อง การจัดบริการที่รวดเร็วมีระบบช่องทางด่วนสำหรับผู้สูงอายุ การเข้าถึงระบบสุขภาพในยุคไทยแลนด์ 4.0 กับการดูแลสุขภาพ การใช้แพทย์ทางเลือกในการดูแลสุขภาพดังนั้นแนวโน้มการดูแลผู้สูงอายุในศตวรรษที่ 21 ต้องมีความเข้าใจสภาพความสูงอายุ สิ่งแวดล้อม และแบบแผนการดำเนินชีวิตตามความเป็นจริง ที่มีความก้าวหน้าโดดเด่นเป็นการดูแลสุขภาพยุคไทยแลนด์ 4.0 มาเป็นประโยชน์ในการดูแลสุขภาพให้พึ่งตนเองได้มากที่สุด ใช้การดูแลด้วยการสร้างสรรค์ประโยชน์ต่างๆ การคิดบวก มีจิตกุศล การทำจิตใจให้สะอาด งดเว้นจากอกุศลกรรมเป็นแนวทางให้ผู้สูงอายุในศตวรรษที่ 21 ที่มีคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดี

The trend of Elderly Care in 21st Century: Challenging in Nursing Care

The 21st century is the growing of technology era and coming up with aging society so it is necessary to link elderly care system with technology to receive more benefit. At the present, most of country are in aged society lead to health problem and lack of caregivers. The aging proportion is increasing that affects to dependency ratio of economy in population. The elderly in 21st century have high life skill and the result of developing treatment and medicine lead to decrease the cause of death so quality of life and life expectancy are increased but the birth rate is decreased. Aging society leads to challenge for nurses who must care base on welfare of elderly and attitude of social to elderly .Challenging of nursing care composed of technology and elderly, long life expectancy, health care system to serve the elderly who have high education and living alone at home. So it is an important role of nursing in caring that consisted of case management, health care service system including short, intermediate, long term care and continuing care, fast tract for elderly care, and accessibility to health system in Thailand 4.0 and alternative care for elderly health. Consequence, the trend of elderly care in 21st century should understand context of elderly and environment, pattern life styles especially in health care service of Thailand 4.0 for self-care. Moreover, using the variety sources in caring such as positive thinking, good thinking and good karma leads to guideline for developing quality of life and caring in 21st century.
