Abstract

     This research aimed to study relationships between balance and activities of daily living of Stroke patients at 1, 3 and 6 month in Muang District, Surat Thani Province. Data were collected from 90 Stroke patients who were admitted to Surat Thani Hospital during July, 2017 to December, 2017. The tool that were used in this study include Personal data of Stroke patients who were admitted to Surat Thani Hospital. The Postural Assessment Scale for Stroke (PASS) and Barthel Index (BI). Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, and Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient. The results showed that the ability to balance was positively correlated with the activities of daily living of Stroke patients at 1, 3 and 6 month with statistical significance at the 0.01 levels (r=0.63, r=0.82, and r=0.76)
