บทคัดย่อ
วัตถุประสงค์ ศึกษาอิทธิพลของความเข้มแข็งทางใจที่มีผลต่อความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างบุคลิกภาพของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยโรคสมองเสื่อมและภาวะเหนื่อยล้าของผู้ดูแล และศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อภาวะเหนื่อยล้า
วิธีการศึกษา เป็นการศึกษาเชิงพรรณนาแบบตัดขวาง กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยโรคสมองเสื่อม จำนวน 93 คน โดยประเมินบุคลิกภาพของผู้ดูแลด้วยแบบวัดบุคลิกภาพ International Personality Item Pool ฉบับภาษาไทย ประเมินภาวะเหนื่อยล้าของผู้ดูแลด้วยแบบประเมิน Zarit Burden Interview และประเมินความเข้มแข็งทางใจด้วยแบบประเมินพลังสุขภาพจิต (RQ ฉบับ 20 ข้อ) วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนา วิเคราะห์ทางสถิติแบบหลายตัวแปรด้วยการวิเคราะห์ถดถอยเชิงเส้นพหุคูณ ทดสอบอิทธิพลของความเข้มแข็งทางใจของผู้ดูแลที่มีต่อความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างบุคลิกภาพกับภาวะเหนื่อยล้าในผู้ดูแลด้วยการวิเคราะห์ปฏิสัมพันธ์ และคำนวณค่าพยากรณ์ภาวะเหนื่อยล้าที่ระดับต่างๆ ของบุคลิกภาพและความเข้มแข็งทางใจ เพื่ออธิบายลักษณะของปฏิสัมพันธ์ดังกล่าว
ผลการศึกษา จากผู้เข้าร่วมทั้งหมด 93 คน พบว่าปัจจัยของผู้ดูแลที่สัมพันธ์กับภาวะเหนื่อยล้าของผู้ดูแลคือ บุคลิกภาพ neuroticism (ρ = .713, p < .001) และความเข้มแข็งทางใจ (ρ = -.501, p < .001) เมื่อวิเคราะห์ทางสถิติแบบหลายตัวแปรพบว่า บุคลิกภาพ neuroticism มีความสัมพันธ์ในเชิงบวกกับภาวะเหนื่อยล้าในผู้ดูแล (b = 5.826, 95% CI 4.13, 7.52, p < .001) ส่วนคะแนนรวมของความเข้มแข็งทางใจ (RQ) มีความสัมพันธ์เชิงลบ (b = -4.447, 95% CI -6.19, -2.71, p < .001) ในการวิเคราะห์ปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างบุคลิกภาพแบบ neuroticism กับความเข้มแข็งทางใจ ในการทำนายภาวะเหนื่อยล้าในผู้ดูแลอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (interaction effect: b = 1.859, 95% CI 0.21, 3.51, p = .027) โดยผู้ดูแลที่มีบุคลิกภาพแบบ neuroticism ต่ำและมีความเข้มแข็งทางใจสูง มีค่าพยากรณ์คะแนนความเหนื่อยล้าต่ำกว่ากลุ่มที่มีความเข้มแข็งทางใจต่ำ
สรุป ความเข้มแข็งทางใจในระดับสูงลดโอกาสพบภาวะเหนื่อยล้าในผู้ดูแลที่มีบุคลิกภาพแบบ neuroticism ต่ำ สนับสนุนว่าความเข้มแข็งทางใจอาจเป็นเป้าหมายของการป้องกันภาวะเหนื่อยล้าในผู้ดูแลได้
