บทคัดย่อ
บทนำ : การระบาดของโรคโควิด-19 ส่งผลกระทบเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในกลุ่มผู้จัดฟันที่ต้องได้รับการรักษาอย่างต่อเนื่อง ทั้งนี้เพราะเป็นกลุ่มที่มีความเสี่ยงต่อการรับและแพร่เชื้อสูงในช่วงสถานการณ์ระบาดจากการทำหัตถการ
วัตถุประสงค์ : เพื่อศึกษาประสบการณ์ของสาวจัดฟันโดยมุ่งศึกษาผลกระทบที่เกิดขึ้นในสถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดของเชื้อไวรัสโคโรนา 2019
วิธีการวิจัย : ผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญในการศึกษาครั้งนี้คือสาวจัดฟันแบบติดแน่น จำนวน 11 คน โดยเลือกตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจง เก็บข้อมูลโดยการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกจนข้อมูลมีความอิ่มตัว และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยเทคนิคการจัดกลุ่มแก่นสาระ
ผลการวิจัย : ประสบการณ์และผลกระทบของสาวจัดฟันสามารถสรุปได้ดังนี้ 1) ผลกระทบด้านสุขภาพพบว่าเกิดปัญหาสุขภาพช่องปาก ได้แก่ มีแผลในช่องปาก มีการเกาะของคราบหินปูน ปัญหาการโยกของฟัน และฟันล้ม และมีความเครียดและความวิตกกังวลสืบเนื่องจากการไม่ได้รับการรักษาตามแผน 2) ผลกระทบด้านการเงินทำให้ไม่สามารถจุนเจือครอบครัว และทำให้ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างเพื่อนและครอบครัวลดลง และยังส่งผลกระทบต่อแผนการรักษาที่ไม่เป็นไปแนวทางที่กำหนดและต้องใช้เวลาในการรักษาและการจัดฟันนานมากขึ้น
สรุป : การวางแผนชีวิตทั้งด้านการเยียวยาร่างกาย จิตใจ การจัดการเรื่องการออมทรัพย์ และการสนับสนุนสวัสดิการ อาจเป็นแนวทางหนึ่งของการแก้ไขปัญหาที่ส่งผลกระทบต่อแผนการรักษาของทันตแพทย์น้อยลง
