ข้อบังคับเรื่องผลิตภัณฑ์ยาสูบเป็นมาตรการหนึ่งที่ได้กำหนดไว้ในกรอบอนุสัญญาว่าด้วยการควบคุมยาสูบขององค์การอนามัยโลก ซึ่งครอบคลุมเรื่องสารประกอบของผลิตภัณฑ์ยาสูบและสารปลดปล่อย และการเปิดเผยข้อมูลต่อหน่วยงานรัฐและสาธารณชน บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อนำเสนอสาระสำคัญของแนวทางการดำเนินงานตามกรอบอนุสัญญาว่าด้วยการควบคุมยาสูบขององค์การอนามัยโลก มาตรา 9 และ 10 โดยเฉพาะเรื่องการเปิดเผยส่วนประกอบของผลิตภัณฑ์ยาสูบและสารปลดปล่อย รวมทั้งยกตัวอย่างการดำเนินงานในบางประเทศ การเปิดเผยข้อมูลความเป็นพิษของผลิตภัณฑ์ยาสูบแก่สาธารณชนช่วยให้ประชาชนตระหนักถึงความเสี่ยงด้านสุขภาพจากการสูบบุหรี่มากขึ้น และส่งผลต่อการกระตุ้นให้มีการลด ละ และเลิกการสูบบุหรี่ในที่สุด
