The objective of this study was to develop a web-based application for queue management purposes for emergency room at Sanpatong Hospital. Study design was research and development in Speedy Q web application. We studied 770 patients presenting to emergency room of Sanpatong Hospital. Data were collected on waiting time and timeliness of care. We analyzed data using chi-square test, t-test and logistic regression. The results showed that patient waiting time before and after implementation of the application were 18.59+0.93 minutes and 4.43+0.14 minutes, respectively. Timeliness of care before and after implementation of the application were 70.39% and 99.48%, respectively. Timeliness of care increased 81.29 times (95% CI=19.74-334.67) after implementation. Speedy-Q web application could effectively reduce waiting time and increase timeliness of care at emergency room.
