Updates to Author Guidelines

Beginning with submissions in 2026, the Author Guidelines have been updated to:

  • Require the inclusion of a graphical abstract with each manuscript.
  • Expand the “Back Matters” section from three to seven components, now including: Acknowledgements, Funding, Conflicts of Interest, Author Contributions, Data Availability Statement, Institutional Review Board Statement, and Informed Consent Statement.

We encourage all prospective authors to review the updated Submission Checklist before submitting their manuscripts. These enhancements reflect our ongoing commitment to supporting authors, ensuring transparency, and advancing scientific communication.

Increase in the Number of Articles Published per Issue

We are pleased to announce that, beginning in 2026, Biomedical Sciences and Clinical Medicine (BSCM) will increase the number of articles published in each issue from 9 to 15.

This expansion reflects both the steady growth of high-quality submissions and our commitment to providing a broader platform for impactful biomedical and clinical research. With this change, BSCM will publish approximately 60 articles annually starting in 2026.

We thank our authors, reviewers, and readers for their continued support and contributions, which make this development possible.

BSCM Accepted for Inclusion in the Directory of Open Acess Journals (DOAJ)

We are delighted to share that Biomedical Sciences and Clinical Medicine (BSCM) has been officially accepted for inclusion in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) as of 22 September 2025.

As a result, all articles published in BSCM from 2022 onwards are now accessible through the DOAJ platform, further enhancing the visibility, accessibility, and impact of the research we publish.

This milestone underscores our commitment to high standards of open-access publishing and to ensuring that valuable scientific contributions reach a global audience. 

We extend our sincere gratitude to our authors, reviewers, and readers for their continuous support in helping us achieve this recognition.

We are pleased to announce that "Biomedical Sciences and Clinical Medicine" has increased the number of articles published per issue from 6 to 8, in response to the growing number of high-quality submissions. As a result, we will be publishing an annual total of approximately 32 articles in 2024.

Furthermore, we are planning to further increase the number of articles published per issue in the coming year. We will provide more details on this update in due course.

Biomedical Sciences and Clinical Medicine has been accepted for inclusion in Scopus

We are pleased to announce that “Biomedical Sciences and Clinical Medicine” has been accepted for inclusion in the Scopus database.  The journal editorial team is deeply grateful to the TCI-TSRI-Scopus Collaboration Project (Phase 2), Thai-Journal Citation Index (TCI) Center, and the local board for their constructive feedback contributing to the journal quality improvement.  We are now in the process of waiting for license agreement with Scopus for content indexing.  The editorial team will keep our authors posted once the indexing process is commenced.
