งานวิจัยนี้เป็นการศึกษาเชิงบรรยายเพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างปัจจัยคัดสรรกับความรักใคร่ผูกพันระหว่างมารดาและทารกในมารดาที่ได้รับการผ่าตัดคลอดทารกทางหน้าท้องแบบไม่มีแผน โดยใช้ทฤษฎีความรักใคร่ผูกพันระหว่างมารดาและทารกของคลอสและเคนเนลล์ (Klaus & Kennell, 1982) เป็นกรอบแนวคิดในการวิจัย ตัวอย่างเป็นมารดาที่ได้รับการผ่าตัดคลอดทางหน้าท้องแบบไม่มีแผนและพักฟื้นหลังคลอดในหอผู้ป่วยสูติกรรมหลังคลอด โรงพยาบาลตำรวจ ระหว่างเดือน กันยายน พ.ศ. 2559 ถึง เดือน มกราคม พ.ศ. 2560 จำนวน 100 ราย คัดเลือกตัวอย่างแบบเจาะจงตามคุณสมบัติที่กำหนด เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล ได้แก่ แบบสอบถามข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล แบบประเมินการรับรู้ประสบการณ์การคลอด แบบวัดพฤติกรรมสนับสนุนการคลอดของพยาบาล และแบบสอบถามความรักใคร่ผูกพันระหว่างมารดาและทารก วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงบรรยายและสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ของเพียร์สัน
ผลการวิจัยพบว่าปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับความรักใคร่ผูกพันระหว่างมารดาและทารกอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติในมารดาที่ได้รับการผ่าตัดคลอดแบบไม่มีแผน คือ การรับรู้ประสบการณ์การคลอด และแรงสนับสนุนทางการพยาบาลในระยะคลอด (r=.36, p=.000 และ r=.21, p=.034 ตามลำดับ) ผลการศึกษาในครั้งนี้ มีข้อเสนอแนะว่า พยาบาลควรประเมินปัจจัยการรับรู้ประสบการณ์การคลอด และให้การสนับสนุนทางการพยาบาลแก่ผู้คลอดตามมาตรฐานของวิชาชีพเพื่อส่งเสริมความรักใคร่ผูกพันระหว่างมารดาและทารก
