Abstract

The global community, including Thailand, is faced with Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and its long-term consequences. This circumstance causes mental health problems including stress, anxiety, and depression. This article aimed to propose the online counseling approach which is a crucial tool for helping people in this COVID-19 situation. Nurses play an important role in applying knowledge for giving online counseling consisting of five elements, namely healthcare providers, coordinators, health educators, advocators, managers, and leaders.
