Abstract

The objectives were to; 1) Compare pre-and-post learning knowledge on the nursing practice on newborn bathing with CAI, and 2) Evaluate satisfaction level regarding reviewing nursing practice on newborn bathing with the assistance of CAI. The sample consisted of 69 second-year nursing police students (Police Nursing College's Class of 2018, 2nd semester). The research tools were 1) computer-based lesson on newborn bathing 2) quizzes on newborn bathing with the reliability of .52 and 3) the survey of satisfaction level which indicated the reliability of .90. The statistical calculations were applied with the mean, standard deviation and dependent t-test.

This study revealed that 1) survey of satisfaction level showed the efficiency of the training from post-using CAI, which is higher than the pre-using CAI by statistical significance at .05 level (M = 16.93, SD = 1.41 and M = 11.50, SD = 2.47; t = 11.84, p = .000), 2) the students' satisfaction of students was at the highest level in the post-using CAI (M = 4.63, SD = .56)
