FACTORS AFFECTION TO PREVENTIVE BEHAVIOR ON DRUG AMONG UPPER ELEMENTARY STUDENTS OF WAT PRATHUM WANARAM SCHOOL IN HER ROYAL HIGHNESS PRINCESS MAHA CHAKRI SIRIDHORN’S

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study 1) the relationships between personal factor, family factor, social factor and behavior drug Prevention in upper elementary students, and 2) the factor associated with the variable of personal factor, family factor, and social factor affection to the behavior drug prevention in upper elementary students. One hundred and fifty in upper elementary students of Wat Pathum Wanaram school were purposive sampling for study. The research instrument were demographic data, scales for personal factor, family factors, and social factor, and behavior drug prevention in upper elementary students. Statistical analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s product -moment correlation and multiple linear regression analysis.

            The results of study were as follows:

            1) The level of the personal factor, family factor, and social factor and behavior drug prevention in upper elementary students were high.

            2) The personal factor and social factor were significantly positive correlation with behavior drug prevention in upper elementary students at .01 level. The family factor was positive correlation and non-significant behavior drug prevention in upper elementary.

          3) The family factor and social factor were predictive factors affecting behavior drug prevention in upper elementary students at the percentage of 33.4.
