The Characteristics of Strategic Leadership: The Challenge toward Learning Organization of the Nursing Organization at the Community Hospital

Abstract

In the current situation of the globalized world, most organizations need to modify their management systems to meet the changed. These include the nursing organization in the community hospitals or secondary hospitals, which are required as a setting for practicing the learning experience of health science students in accordance with the Office of the Public Sector Development Commission (OPDC). It is obvious that the executives are key persons in promoting and driving a successful organization. The characteristic style of leadership is an important part, which is the key to long term success and sustainability of nursing organizations within the changing circumstances and high competition in the health system. It is a great challenge for organizational leaders with the strategic leadership to develop nursing organizations at the community hospital to become a learning organization in order to enhance the hospital to be an effective learning center for healthcare personnel and to provide better quality services.
