ความต้องการการได้รับการช่วยเหลือของมารดาเด็กออทิสติก

Abstract

การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความต้องการการได้รับการช่วยเหลือของมารดา    เด็กออทิสติก กลุ่มตัวอย่างทั้งหมดเป็นมารดาเด็กออทิสติกที่นำบุตรของตนเองมาเข้ารับการฝึก ณ ศูนย์การศึกษาพิเศษ เขตการศึกษา 5 จังหวัดสุพรรณบุรี โดยเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเฉพาะเจาะจงที่เป็นมารดาของเด็กออทิสติกและให้การดูแลเด็กออทิสติกอย่างน้อยวันละ 6 ชั่วโมง จำนวน 10 ราย การเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้การสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นเครื่องมือที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้นโดยใช้แนวคิดเรื่องของความต้องการของ Brewin (2001) ได้แก่ แบบบันทึกข้อมูลส่วนบุคคลและแบบสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกแบบกึ่งโครงสร้าง ความเที่ยงตรงของเนื้อหาของเครื่องมือได้ผ่านการตรวจสอบจากผู้เชี่ยวชาญ การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติบรรยาย และข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพที่ได้จากการสัมภาษณ์ทำการวิเคราะห์โดยการวิเคราะห์เชิงเนื้อหา ผลการศึกษาครั้งนี้พบว่า ประเด็นความต้องการการได้รับความช่วยเหลือของมารดาเด็กออทิสติกประกอบด้วย 4 ประเด็นดังนี้ ประเด็นที่หนึ่งคือความต้องการให้เด็กช่วยเหลือตัวเองได้ในอนาคต ประเด็นที่สองคือความต้องการให้เด็กมีสถานที่ดูแลตลอดชีวิต ประเด็นที่สามคือความต้องการได้รับการสนับสนุนจากสังคม  และประเด็นที่สี่คือความต้องการได้รับกำลังใจจากครอบครัว

            ผลการศึกษาครั้งนี้ บ่งชี้ให้เห็นว่ามารดาของเด็กออทิสติกมีความต้องการการช่วยเหลือจากสังคม และการได้รับกำลังใจจากครอบครัวเป็นสำคัญ ซึ่งความต้องการเหล่านี้เป็นสิ่งที่ช่วยให้มารดาของเด็กออทิสติกมีพลังกายและพลังใจในการดูแลเด็กออทิสติกให้มีพัฒนาการที่ดีขึ้นต่อไป

THE NEEDS OF AUTISTICS’ MOTHER FOR HELPING SUPPORT OF CHILDREN WITH AUTISM

      The purpose of this research was to explore the needs of the helping support in mothers whom their children with autistic spectrum disorder. All participants were mothers of children with autism in which their children practiced at the special education center (Region 5), Suphanburi province. Sample collection were specifically collected by focusing on the autistics’ mother and looked after their children with autism at least six hours/day. The participants were also collected ten mothers. The data collection protocols were performed by in-depth interview. Instruments used in this work were designed according to the individual needs for care and services expressed by Brewin (2001), including the personal questionnaire and semi-structure in-depth interview questionnaires. The content validity of research instruments was validated by specialized experts. Data analysis was performed by descriptive statistics. Content analysis was used to analyze the qualitative data obtained from an individual interview. The results revealed that the need of autistics’ mother for helping support their children with autism was emerged four themes. First, the need for children with autism can self-helping in the forward. Second, the need for children with autism lives the suitable host care. Third, the need for children with autism supporting from society. Fourth, the need for children with autism encouraging from their families.

            The result of this work indicated that autistics’ mother need the helping from society. Moreover, the families’ encouragement is very important. The needs explored from this work can help and support the autistics’ mother for caring their children with autism leading to better developmental ability.
