NURSING CARE OF PATIENTS WITH BURN

Abstract

The objective of this study was to compare patients. Disease action, nursing

diagnosis, nursing care and nursing outcomes among two burned. who were admitted to Burn unit at Khon Kaen Hospital during January 2024 to June 2024 and to provide guidelines for nursing patients with burns Data were collected from medical records, observations, history taking of patients and relatives, the use of nursing procedures, formulating nursing diagnoses, and the FANCAS health assessment framework. The results showed that caring for patients with severe burn injuries  was critical. With changes in the body after injury in all systems and local changes and various body, systems need to be evaluated Quick diagnosis Together with providing timely medical treatment To ensure the patient's safety from complications in the three stages of nursing care: 1) Emergency phase 2) Critical phase 3) Rehabilitation phase Recommendations from this study should provide guidelines for nursing patients with burns  and development of professional nurse competencies in nursing patients with burns. Nursing Outcomes:For both case studies, after receiving care, the patients were able to return home. In the first case, the patient was hospitalized for 103 days and was discharged with instructions to continue wound care and physical therapy, with follow-up treatment at a local hospital. In the second case, the patient was hospitalized for 56 days and was discharged with instructions to continue wound care at a local hospital and scheduled for continuous follow-up at the Burn Unit, Khon Kaen Hospital.
