Abstract

The aim of this quasi-experiment research   was to study the effect of family preparation with participatorylearning on sex education for children aged 3-5 years. The sample of study was 30 families whose childrenaged 3-5 years in Fuorai District, Nongkai province.  The subjects were divided two groups; 15 family each forexperimental and control groups. The instrument for data collection was the questionnaire that developed by theresearcher consisting of two parts: general data of family and familyûs preparation on sex education for childrenaged 3-5 years. The content validity index of questionnaire and cronbachûs alpha was 0.91.The collected datawere   analyzed through frequency, mean, percentage, standard deviation, Paired t-test and Independent t-test.The results found that after intervention, the mean scores of family preparation on sex education forchildren aged 3-5 years in the experimental group were significantly higher than before intervention and  thecontrol group.
