Qualitative data were collected using semi-structured interviews and were analyzed using content analysis. Results of the study found that caregivers gave meaning of eyes as the child’s life: “blind, world ending”, “take out the eye/eyes cannot see mom’s face”. Enucleation made the eye/eyes lost and cannot be accepted. Decision making of caregivers were related to survival chance of the child, child age, disease progression, child suffering, believe in doctors, time for rethinking, seeing case exemplar, the support of kin. Health team should support caregivers pass through appropriate thinking process and be able to make decision with effectiveness.
