The effect of program using VCD, leaflet and home visit on caregiversû caring behavior whom caring children with bronchiolitis aged 0-1 year-old

บทคัดย่อ

This quasi-experimental research aimed to study the effect of program  using  VCD,  leaflet  and homevisit on caregiversû caring behavior. The samples consisted of 30 caregiversû caring who took care of childrenwith bronchiolitis aged 0-1 year-old. They were divided equally into two groups as the experimental andcontrol groups. The experimental group received the program based on educative supportive nursing system byOremûs theory. The instruments used in this study were questionnaire to measure the effect of program usingVCD, leaflet and home visit on caregiversû caring behavior for their own children and analyzed by t-test. It wasdetermined by Cronbachûs alpha coefficiency which showed 0.769. Results show 1)The experimental groupwas significant higher than those in the control group    (t=-12.82, p = 0.00)  2) For the experimental group,the mean score on caregiversû caring behavior after intervention was significant higher than before intervention (t=-11.72, p = 0.00). The results show that  the  program  using VCD, leaflet  and  home visit can enhancethe caregiversû caring behavior to take care of their children effectively.
