Abstract

ความเข้มแข็งอดทนและความปวดในผู้ป่วยมะเร็งกระดูก

การวิจัยเชิงพรรณนานี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาถึงความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างความเข้มแข็งอดทนและความปวดในผู้ป่วยมะเร็งกระดูก โดยใช้แนวความคิดความเข้มแข็งอดทนของโคบาซา (1982) กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นผู้ป่วยมะเร็งกระดูกชนิดปฐมภูมิที่มารับการรักษาในโรงพยาบาลศรีนครินทร์ คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น จำนวน 60 ราย เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบ ถาม ระหว่างเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ - กรกฎาคม 2558  วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลทางสถิติโดยการแจกแจงความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานและค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ของเพียร์สัน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า  ผู้ป่วยมะเร็งกระดูกมีค่าเฉลี่ยของคะแนนความเข้มแข็งอดทนโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับสูง และความเข้มแข็งอดทนด้านความมุ่งมั่นและความสามารถในการควบคุม มีค่าเฉลี่ยของคะแนนอยู่ในระดับสูง ส่วนด้านความรู้สึกท้าทายมีค่าเฉลี่ยของคะแนนอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง  มีคะแนนความปวดอยู่ในระดับน้อยและปานกลาง ความเข้มแข็งอดทนในผู้ป่วยมะเร็งกระดูกโดยรวม และรายด้านทั้ง 3 ด้าน มีความสัมพันธ์ทางลบกับความปวด อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p < 0.01)  

                                                                              Hardiness and pain in bone cancer patients

The purpose of this descriptive research were to investigate characteristics of hardiness, pain and their relationships in patients with bone cancer. The concept of hardiness was based on what had been proposed by Kobasa (1982). The sample consisted of 60 patients who had been diagnosed with primary bone cancer and being treated at Srinagarind Hospital Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University. Tools used consisted of the Health related hardiness scale, Pain visual rating scale. Data was collected during February to July 2015 and were statistically analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation and Pearson's product moment correlation coefficient. Results of the study yielded that Bone cancer patients had high level score for overall hardiness especially in commitment and control with moderate level score for challenge dimension. For pain score, they had it at low and moderate level. Overall, Hardiness in patients with bone cancer, overall and particular in commitment, control and challenge dimension were significantly correlated with pain in a negative manner (p < 0.01)
