Abstract

This descriptive research aimed to study stress and coping of industrial pregnant women in the Suranaree Industrial Zone, Nakhon Ratchasima Province for 200 pregnant women. Study instruments were questionnaires of stress and coping. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient. The results of the study indicated that 54.5% of pregnant women had moderate level of stress and 11.5% had high level of stress. The high average score was stress on physical health during pregnancy. (x=2.24, S.D=.49), followed by welfare and social support (x=2.19, S.D=.66) and environment (x=2.12, S.D=.69) respectively. The industrial pregnant women used coping by problem focused coping (x= 2.50, S.D=.52) more than emotional focused coping(x=1.89, S.D=.34). In addition, stress had a significant correlation with coping(r = 0.192,p.01). Considering aspects, stress on physical health during pregnancy, family, economy, welfare and social support, works and environment had a significant positive correlation with emotional focused coping at .01 level (r=.290, r=.226, r=.221, r= .210, r=.184, r=.155 respectively).Therefore, who provide care should be aware of counseling for industrial pregnant women to helping them coping appropriately.

การวิจัยเชิงบรรยายนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาความเครียดและการเผชิญความเครียดของสตรีตั้งครรภ์ที่ทำางานในโรงงานอุตสาหกรรม เขตอุตสาหกรรมสุรนารี จังหวัดนครราชสีมา จำานวน 200 ราย เก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถามประเมินความเครียดและแบบสอบถามการเผชิญความเครียด วิเคราะห์โดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนาและสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์แบบ เพียร์สัน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า แรงงานสตรีตั้งครรภ์มีความเครียดในระดับปานกลางร้อยละ 54.5 และระดับสูงร้อยละ 11.5 ค่าเฉลี่ยคะแนนความเครียดที่สูงที่สุด คือ ด้านสุขภาพกายขณะตั้งครรภ์ (x=2.24, S.D=.49) รองลงมาคือ ด้านสวัสดิการและการสนับสนุนทางสังคม (x=2.19, S.D=.66) และด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม (x=2.12, S.D=.69) แรงงานสตรีตั้งครรภ์ใช้การเผชิญความเครียดแบบมุ่งแก้ปัญหา (x=2.50, S.D=.52) มากกว่ามุ่งแก้ด้วยอารมณ์ (x=1.89, S.D=.34) และพบว่า ความเครียดมีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกกับการเผชิญความเครียด (r=0.192,p<.01) โดยความเครียดด้านสุขภาพกายขณะตั้งครรภ์ ด้านครอบครัว ด้านเศรษฐกิจและการเงิน ด้านสวัสดิการและการสนับสนุนทางสังคม ด้านหน้าที่การงาน รวมทั้งด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม มีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกกับการเผชิญความเครียดแบบมุ่งแก้ด้วยอารมณ์อย่างมีนัยสำาคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ.01 (r=.290, r=.226, r=.221, r=.210 r=.184, r=.155ตามลำาดับ) ดังนั้น ผู้ให้การดูแลแรงงานสตรีตั้งครรภ์จึงควรตระหนักถึงความสำาคัญการให้คำาปรึกษาแนะนำาเพื่อช่วยเหลือแรงงานสตรีตั้งครรภ์ให้มีการเผชิญความเครียดได้อย่างเหมาะสม
