Amniotic fluid embolism is a rare obstetric emergency and an unpredictable. Even though with its low incidence, this rare occurrence carries high probability of morbidity and mortality for both the mother and the baby. Furthermore, this incidence can lead to prosecution if the patients and their families did not receive adequate education and information in regard to this rare health complication. This article aims to present about to learning from a case study of “nursing care for pregnant women in labour with amniotic fluid embolism” comparing it to the theory, for health practitioner and midwifery to exchange their knowledge and experiences in enabling to develop best practice guidelines.Downloads
