This descriptive study aims to evaluate using a feminist empowering counseling curriculum. 24 health service providers working at One Stop Service Crisis Centers were trained based on the developed curriculum for the study. The curriculum was five days in length employing experiential learning as a training strategy. An Evaluation Questionnaire was developed to evaluate participants’ perceptions regarding the curriculum. Focus groups were conducted to explore participants’ opinions in more detail. The curriculum was evaluated three times including post training, at two month follow up and four month follow up. Data analysis was conducted by frequency, percentage and content analysis. To the highest level, results showed that post training, 90 to 100 percent of the participants viewed that they understood the content, were content with the abilities of the facilitators and appreciated the usefulness of the content. Also at the maximum level, all participants were satisfied with the training workshop. At the two month and four month follow ups 90 to 100 percent of the participants stated that they could use the knowledge that they’d gained from training in their daily lives, with their families and at work.
