Abstract

The date of 25 January 2023 was a key regrettable event that we lost a person who has contributed to the independence of education in the nursing profession, namely Associate Professor Dr. Saiyud Niyomviphat (1929-2023), whose age was 94 years old. Throughout her life, she has made contributions for future generations to learn and be a good role model in professional development and education in nursing and health care for people. Her resolution was great evident.

This article, therefore, aimed to record this important agenda to commemorate her life and success. This included her other extraordinary roles, such as building a new body of knowledge in nursing, hospital and health services administration, a nursing consultant to the World Health Organization, Secretary General of the National Council of Women of Thailand under the Royal Patronage, and a member of the National Legislative Assembly. Throughout her life, she has made many great contributions that deserve to be inscribed, remembered, and honored.
