Abstract

This article has been reproduced by the editorial staff from an article titled “Faculty of Nursing, KKU”,which was written by the former president, Professor Dr. Bimala Kalakicha in the book “the 20th anniversary of the Faculty of Nursing. Khon Kaen University, 1991”.

We would like to re-publish this for cerebration of the 51st anniversary of establishment of the
Faculty of Nursing, Khon Kaen University, to commemorate his important role of contribution in founding of the Faculty of Nursing. Khon Kaen University. This is a real transformation of nursing education into a higher education system at Khon Kaen University and as the first time of nursing education system in Thailand.
It is also a celebration of the occasion of the Journal of the Faculty of Nursing, Khon Kaen University in its 45th year of jointly creating nursing academic value for all of us.
