การประยุกต์ใช้ทฤษฎีโอเร็มในการพยาบาลผู้ป่วยเด็กโรคปอดอักเสบ: กรณีศึกษา

ปอดอักเสบ เป็นสาเหตุสำคัญของการเจ็บป่วยและเสียชีวิตในเด็กอายุต่ำกว่า 5 ปี เพราะทำให้เกิดภาวะขาดออกซิเจนหรือหายใจล้มเหลวได้ พยาบาลจึงมีบทบาทสำคัญในการดูแลเด็กที่อยู่ในภาวะพึ่งพาให้พ้นจากภาวะวิกฤตเพื่อรักษาไว้ซึ่งโครงสร้างและหน้าที่ของร่างกาย ป้องกันภาวะแทรกซ้อน ส่งเสริมพัฒนาการและฟื้นฟูสมรรถภาพของร่างกาย บทความนี้ประยุกต์ใช้ทฤษฎีของโอเร็มในส่วนของการดูแลตนเองเพื่อตอบสนองความต้องการการดูแลตนเองทั้งหมด ประกอบด้วย 1) ความต้องการการดูแลตนเองโดยทั่วไป 2) ความต้องการการดูแลตนเองตามระยะพัฒนาการ และ 3) ความต้องการการดูแลตนเองเมื่อมีปัญหาด้านสุขภาพ เพื่อคงไว้ซึ่งชีวิตและสุขภาพของผู้ป่วยเด็กโรคปอดอักเสบ ส่งผลให้ผู้ป่วยและผู้ดูแลมีคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดี
