As the final stage in a person’s life it is a uniquely important time for the dying person and their family and significant others. The goals of end-of-life care are: to maintain the comfort, to reduce suffering, choices, and improve quality of life of a person who is recognized to be dying; to support their individuality; and to care for the psychosocial and spiritual needs of themselves and their families. The role of palliative care nurse is to help patients in the last phase was the spiritual well-being and good death or peaceful death.
