บทคัดย่อ

This research was a quasi-experimental study aimed at investigating the effect of a Planned Behavior Program on exclusive breastfeeding behavior among working mothers. The samples were composed of working mothers who gave birth to their first child via vaginal delivery at Srinagarind Hospital. The samples were selected by the systematic random sampling method and divided into experimental and control groups with 15 women in each group. The data collection instruments were monitoring questionnare at 3 months 2 weeks. The data were then analyzed with frequncy distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, comparing proportion by Chi-Square test and comparing breastfeeding behavior score by Mann-Whitney U test. The findings showed that the experimental group exhibited a higher proportion of exclusive breastfeeding than the control group at a statistically significant level of .01. Also, the experimental group exhibited a greater exclusive breastfeeding behavior score than the control group at a statistically significant level of .001.
